November 1985. Mikel Zabalza, a young bus driver, is arrested along with other people by the Civil Guard as part of an anti-terrorist operation. When the rest of the young people are released, they report having been savagely tortured. But Mikel is missing. Although the authorities allege that he has escaped, everything indicates that he did not survive the torment and they try to hide it. And while the hopes of finding him alive are fading, the streets of the Basque Country burn with a shout: "Where is Mikel?"
