A film of affection, absence, emptiness and distance.

Documentary about gaps, images and memory, which is based on two forms of absences. On the one hand, the disappearance of the Zikuñaga virgin, a carving from the 13th century, serves to reflect on the value we give to images, and on how we construct those images in collective memory. On the other hand, the death of my father, Juanmi Gutiérrez, a documentary filmmaker who left us all the images of him when he died.
