SINOPSIS

Arrebato (1980) is now considered the definitive cult film of Spanish cinema, and its director, Iván Zulueta, a legendary yet “cursed” filmmaker. Once hailed as one of the most promising voices of his generation, Zulueta vanished into obscurity following the film’s commercial failure. Over the years, Arrebato has taken on an almost mythical status, eerily mirroring the fate of its creator—both consumed by drugs, cinema, and ultimately, disappearance. Forty-five years later, a film crew sets out to unravel the enigma behind the film and its elusive director, unaware of the risks that come with entering the hypnotic and dangerous world of Arrebato.
