Cimasub dives into August with two very special screenings
Summer is a time for the sea, for encounters and, of course, for underwater cinema. At Cimasub we continue to take our images to new places, and this August we have prepared two very special activities that invite you to enjoy the cinema of the seabed in unique spaces.
Open-air cinema in Bakio - Tuesday 5th August
The first event will be on Tuesday 5 August at 22:00h, in the Bakea marquee in Bakio, where we will enjoy a night of open-air cinema in an unbeatable setting next to the Bay of Biscay. We will screen a careful selection of Cimasub short films that will immerse us in the beauty of the oceans and the stories hidden beneath the surface.
A perfect opportunity to experience underwater cinema under the open sky, share in community and connect with the sea from a different perspective.
Cimasub at the Itsas Film Festibala - Monday 11th August
The second stop will be in Donostia - San Sebastián on Monday, August 11, at 12:00 p.m., as part of the Itsas Film Festibala, an initiative created by the San Sebastián Aquarium as a contribution to the programming of the Semana Grande Donostiarra (Big Week of Donostia).
The session will take place in the Aquarium Auditorium, in the heart of the city, and admission will be free until capacity is reached. This festival brings together a very special program for all audiences and aims to promote awareness of the sea through cinema.
Cimasub will participate with a selection of projections that invite reflection, astonishment and respect for the marine environment. A perfect plan to enjoy with family or friends, between tides, culture and festivities.
