LABURBIRA, the circuit of short films made in Basque, celebrates its twenty-first edition in 2024. The aim of the circuit is twofold: on the one hand, to promote Basque audiovisual creation and, on the other hand, to offer filmmakers the opportunity to show their work and make it known to the public.
During these 20 years LABURBIRA has become the referential showcase of Basque cinema: it offers a wide and consolidated circuit, and in this sense, it is a great support for the entire film industry.
In order to complete a varied, enriching and representative compilation, 8 short films have been chosen from the 22 submitted. These are the short films that can be seen in LABURBIRA 2024:
-DENA ASMATUTA DAGO (Jone Arriola).
-KATALINAREN ZORIA (Guillermo Ordás)
-ERRO (Amaia Lejarreta)
-BABESA (Ander Iruretagoyena)
-MUNDU BERRI BAT (Mikel Alvarez)
-ZIRRARA (Ane Cuesta)
-TALKAK (Ilune Diaz eta Jordi Nuet)
-BETIZU BURU (Ander Iriarte)
How to organize a screening?
